Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Employee Resource Groups Image

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are an integral part of our ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. These employee-led communities support our diverse populations, creating networking, learning, awareness, and celebratory events with support from key executive sponsors. Our ERGs currently include Women & Allies, LGBTQ+ & Allies, Latinx & Allies, and African American/Black & Allies (AABA).

Listening and Learning

Our Enterprise-wide listening and learning Town Hall meetings take place throughout the year and are led by our CEO as well as our Chief Human Resources Officer. Guest speakers are invited to open forums and discussions with employees focused on specific social issues and the important role businesses and individuals play in advancing social change. The company also holds an annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Symposium where employees join internal and external leaders to discuss emerging issues and best practices.

Inclusive and Welcoming Workspace

Employees across the company participate in training that helps foster a culture of inclusion and belonging. New hire training focuses on respect in the workplace and the importance of creating a harassment-free work environment, covering topics such as gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, respect for transgender employees, and more. Annual coursework for employees across the company covers additional topics like unconscious bias, why diversity matters, and the importance of employee sensitivity around diversity and inclusion, among others.

Employee Engagement

We leverage StandOut, a digital engagement tool providing opportunities for ongoing check-ins and priority alignment between leaders and members of their team. Quarterly surveys through this tool help managers gauge real-time sentiment as they build highly motivated, highly productive teams.

Volunteerism

Our Summer of a Million Smiles program offers paid time off to volunteer in local communities, providing opportunities to strengthen connections with colleagues while fostering company and personal pride.
